Overview
Flourish is a responsive planter that mimics the growth and life cycle of a living plant. People often do not know about the watering needs of their plants and end up either over or under watering the plant. Flourish takes this off their hands. By visually indicating the amount of water through the organic cue of "wilting," the user will know when the plant is thirsty.
This simple motion reflects the transitive needs of flora and indicates its base needs. Flourish is intended to be used in a multitude of locations and receive a variety of water types, from gray to clean. Flourish is just as alive as the plants it houses.
